DEVELOPMENT AND PATTERN DRAFTING FOR DESIGNERS, STUDIOS AND BRANDS

What I can help with:

What is the cost?

The hourly rate for my work (including consultations and sewing) is 20 EUR

The first consultation, which is mainly to get acquainted with you and your requirements, is always free. If you are based in Prague, we can meet in person, or we can also connect via a video call.

Based on this meeting and the agreed scope of work, I will provide a price quote. A 50% deposit of the total price is required before the work begins.

If the above doesn't apply to you and you're interested in having a pattern made for yourself, please take a look here

Work Process for Pattern Development and Creation:

1) Consultation on the garment design - We will discuss material solutions, proportions, details, etc.; we will clarify the technological possibilities for sewing the garment according to the design.

2) Pattern development and creation of a sample garment in the selected size, fitting - All the information from the initial consultation will be incorporated into the first pattern of the garment. At this stage, the pattern is developed by hand. During the fitting, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the first model. More extensive feedback will be incorporated and discussed in the next fitting, while minor comments will be addressed directly during the preparation of the parametric garment model.

3) Development of the parametric pattern model - If the first fitting is successful and the feedback is minimal, I will proceed with the creation of the parametric garment model in CAD software.

4) Scaling to the selected sizes - The parametric model will then be used to scale the pattern to the pre-agreed range of ready-to-wear sizes.

5) Creation of final documentation - The patterns are converted into an output file in PDF format, from which the patterns can be printed. Upon request, it is possible to provide output in vector formats such as .DWG, .DXF, .AI, .SVG, etc. The documentation also includes a technological process description for garment creation.

6) Preparation of additional previously agreed-upon materials.
